This was my first painting/noteboard.
The image is painted on the reverse side of the glass so that you can make notes with a dry erase board. It works super well.

This one above was on request from a friend. Who had the idea one summer day this past season.

Slowly but surely I am collecting photos of my painting that I have abandon about the continental U.S..
So these lastest three are in Denver, at Drews home. Tho I painted them in San Diego a few years back. I still like the idea of them.

There's a few more from that year, but The SIX are in Portland OR so I have to go there to get a photo. I guess this is what happens when a detail illustrator get to Paint whatever. Non representational art.....ta DAHHHHH!!!!!

It took me the better part of two months to find some, but finally. I found some friends. one from wyoming, one from washington, one from colorado, and one from calgary. They made my last week here in Moab GREAT....really wonderfull people.

My Housemate here in Moab, she works at the Aches Park, suggested we head out to arches on a full moon night last week. The photos are not so good because of the cloud cover and me not knowing how to work the exposure.....however, if you open them and make them big....then you can see SOME detail.

In No perticular order. Natl. Bridges National Monument!! It's about 2.5 hours south of Moab. One can see the AZ and NM border when driving down there.

It's a great 9+ mile hike through and under 3 amazing bridges that wind you through a beautiful canyon....and low and behold WATER in the canyon. But that's why they are "bridges" and not "arches"

I have learned that "Arches" are formed by wind, and "Bridges" are formed by water! awesome.

The hand prints behind me are from the Anistazi indians, made from ground pigment and NOT mud.....they are awesome

Man, Good thing for "P" that I am NOT a DINOSAUR...he would be so dead.....he didn't know it, but the WHOLE time we were hiking I was pretending that I was a DINOSAUR!! Chomp CHOMP CHOMP!!!! Stalking...

Sneek Sneek sneek........Yummmm crunchy bones......silly human, in the slot canyon. If knew me better he would have know to look behind him, because he would have caught me making dinosaur faces and creeping and leaping on stones!

I didnt see the arch for a few min, because there were these crows ridge soaring the top of it....and I was busy looking at them playing on the air. Thinking about paragliding, then suddenly i exclamed "OH CHECK IT OUT! Thhe ARCH!" Sneaky Arch......

I found out that the top 60 largest arches are in Utah. The rest are in Africa.....who knew? ha ha ha Okay, Casey my house mate new.....but I never would have guessed.

I love spring in the desert. Any one who thinks the desert has no color or is dead, need only come see it in the spring. It's amazing. Every time I see a budding leaf or a small beautiful flower fighting against the lack of water and real dirt I want to chear for it.....Go Little Plant GO! GO! GO!

My God...Moab is amazing....one of those cloudless days.....waiting for clients feed back on projects....what's a girl to do?

GO FOR A BIKE RIDE!!!! Toooooo the FISHER TOWERS!!!!!....it was fantastic, the road winds along the colorado river through the canyon....past a ga'gillion amazing canyons....natrual arches and TOWERS!!!!! The whole loop was about 55+ some miles of amazing.

Soooo yeh the fishers....amazing. I didnt take this photo....but it's still good.

The Towers are composed of three major fins of rock that run from the northeast closer to the mesa out to the southwest and into a desert valley. The fin are between 1,000 and 2,000 feet (610 m) long and separated from each other by about 1,000 feet (300 m). Each fin contains multiple towers a number of which have been named.

first real ride....

Went for my first real ride here in Moab today.....yeh....this blow washington out of the water!!

This is the part that I start getting giddy! The Cirque! Oh man, I knew it was going to be a good day on my bike....crisp...cool spring air. and all that Jazz....but nothing could have perpared me for the HUGE grin on my face as I rounded this corner...

I kept catching myself exclame things like "FUCK YEAH!" and then realizing I had just said that....out loud....really loud.....would bring on a giggle fit.....it was awesome...i love this place.

The rout was a steady roll until the 10% grade...then it was like a dirt bath down hill into Hunter Canyon......oh man....

The ride should have only take about 2.5 hours....but I was so distracted.....it's hard to look UP constantly and ride a bike on switchbacks safely. So it took about 3 hours instead....it was great....then I ended my day with a FAT buffalo burger with avocado....Ohhhh yeh

I had a plesant suprise on my first whole day in moab.....my good friend DREW! We went and explored Moab's Arches Natnl. Park!! It was fun....The climate was great too....overcast and 70's......which...tho makes for not so fantastic photos.....makes for a nice day for hiking!!

We had to kinda force out way into a couple places.....but it was well worth it.....MORE SQUEEZING!!!!!!!!!!! Lets see if I cant get some more squeezing int between rocks happening on the future

So sadily the little monkeys time to come to a new home has come, it's been 6 months that I have had the pleasure of watching her grow. But all good things must come to and end. A new chapter for Monkey and a new chapter for me.
I hope my little bitting fuzzy princess has fun terrorising someone else.

Now were not talking about just any kind of spoiled, this is a special kind of spoiled.....like she got grass fed free range ground beef with her dinner for the first 3 months. Then she got too big....and then we moved onto just reg ground beef.....3 meals a day with kibble. Above is her gnawing on a fresh leg bone.....yumm yummm monkey

I made her bed up and tucked her in at night in her kennel. Made sure I said good night and told her i loved her every night. and every morning as was our routine, she would attack me. It was great.

All I DO know is....here, there's a lot of lesbians. and trendy hipster boys. Reformed hippies and confederate flags. A strange mix. Many of the people here....they kinda look.......errmmmmmm slow. if you know what I mean. We got all the dull crayons and pencils you could want. Don't get me wrong, it seems to be highly educated....people just don't show it. So it's a real "don't judge a book by it's cover." kinda place.

It does rain.....every day, at least a litte. So that is juat a bit odd for me.

The Culpret of my smile is a little colt who is unnamed, and for sale at the Wild Horse Preserve in South Dakota. . . . . Big dogs or not, they make me grin.

So today I spent mostly in South Dakota....no really, SD. I awoke in Chadron (kinda) Nebraska, and went and played in the pool w/ mom. The visited my Nonni, then drove to Rapid City to get some AWESOME greek food. No Kidding, and it is SOOooooo worth the 2 hour drive to get it. Home made Hummus, Dolmas, Baklava (pistachio, and not to sweet) and the most amazing grilled lamb kabob!

But on eth way HOME.....we took the i70 South instead of the normal route. and we stopped in to see the wild horse preserve, something i have always wanted to do. It was super awesome. We were there at dusk and all the horses were out to graze for dinner.

I was busy taking photos of the group pf horses in the above photo...when this cheekey monkey came over and started nibbeling my hair! I didn't see him come over because i was looking through the camera...cracked me up.

I almost bought that little colt tho. I thought about it. Proceeds go to the care and matinence of the area and the horses so that they can remain wild. AWESOME.

I know, I KNOW....it is said and said again but seriously.....it's good advice.
That's why I am posting it....mostly so I can come back and read it again, w/out searching.

OKAYYYYYYYYYY.......

Once again, life, well it got out of hand. I am now living in California, again. I'm 3 weeks settled into a Tattoo Internship, and attempting to blend in w/ the locals. I don't do it well. But my disdain is enough to keep the overly friendly inhabitants from approaching me, regarding me as a dangerous foreigner animal. Or at least, that is what I like to think.

But for now. I am learning a lot, and running, climbing, looking at the ocean, and riding my BIKE!!!!!!!!! ha ha ha ha.....when I find a charger for my camera.....I'll post some photos.

In other News. . . . . . had a great time at Kate/Aarons wedding. made me tear up and everything, I feel like such a sucker. *grin*

Bethel Church, Whitney Nebraska

Bethel Church, East of Whitney, Nebraska. Just down the road from my parents house.

To have the area be so green in mid Auguest is both unusual and a treat. It has been raining off and on all summer, unusual for the area.

The two small buildings behind the church, they are out houses. since Bethel Church has no indoor plumbing. One for men and one for women.

Bethel Church was almost in a compleat state of ruin a couple years ago, but since then locals (of which my parents are some) have begun a group to restore and save Bethel Church.

Some of the graves are dated the early 1900s and late 1800's it is amazing, infact they are the majority. My grad father is burried here.

Chris and I found our selves in California in May......I dont remember why. I think it was his birthday. We went one evening to fly Sand City.....it was a no win(d) situation, so we walked the beach of Moss landing....and were disturbed by over a dosen dead seals and almost 2 dos. dead cormerants.....i was heart broken when we found a dying pup....i called animal services....they said they could do nothing. I was disturbed.

SOMEONE....nudge nudge....made me an awesome birthday HAT!.....and went w/ me to the Fisher Towers out side Moab UT! We went to climb Ancient Art...a mud tower that was , honestly more solid than i thought that it would be.

Chris led it....it was a bit too stiff for me. But it was fun, I enjoyed the 2/3rd pitch most.....though I kinda lamed out on the last and most (what has been said to be thrilling) part of the climb, I just wasn't feeling good about it....so walked accross the diving board and sidewalk....i cried a bit, because i was mad that i whimped out. but i'll try it again some other time.

The White Tiger prowls in the South Coast of Californian Malls.....while I was searching for the perfect dress...all we (Drew and I managed to do was scope out the hot girls working at BEBE) this was last March.

Lovely crags in So.California, while doing Recon. for ACSD's guide book last spring. The book it self ended taking MUCH longer than anyone thought it would, except for perhaps Jeff. Thanks again Drew for the home away from home, and mel. too....aka CUP CAKE!!

Then Loren came out from Utah to visit....we were ALL sick and tired of the winter by this point, anything to get away from the snow cold of late winter!

Not to mention the MUD! and all.....we had a couple great days in San Diego, and Torrey Pines, TRYING to fly. Got to go Tandem and fly over ritzy homes and the golf course. Get to listen to Hanglider pilots rants about the new paraglider pilots trying to kill them. Etc. It was funny. Ran on the beach and had lunch on the La Jolla Cliff side......Coast Toast

Then it was Off to Tampa! for my Nephews 10th birthday and Easter (yes april already)
So we had a party, and dyed easter eggs and enjoyed being family. The above pict was taken in the TPA airport, the SMOKERS CAGE! LOL take that air polluters!

Oh yeh, and SKYDIVED......which my sister tough was the poop....she loved it.....i thought that it was fun. tho I like Paragliding better, for now.

Sooooo......I am Still here, In San Diego.....yep, not in UT. But I am heading back soon. But while I am here I have been taking advantage of the locals....ha ha ha.

So I am finding out, slowly that I don't hate kids......i only hate kids that are annoying. Fortunatly......i adore Mary-Anne.....My friend Jenns' kid-o who was born last July. Summer bebby.....she and Jenn are heading out to Mississippi...sad

Her housemate however was tossing this AWESOME bag.....I was inclined to get into it and do a little dance. good thing drew was about to get a couple of shots of it...

BTW.....the splinters in my mouth are worth it for the tasty juice from the sugar cane that I picked up at Ranch 99.....the local HUGE asian Market.

The Black Market, Ja Lolla

So I am on a Quest, for my beloved KT. She's getting married. And I need a dress. The guidelines are simple.....black, new black, between knee and calve length. That is about it.

So Drew and I were in La Jolla, CA. and decided to hit The BLACK Market/The WHITE House Since they only carry black and white things......It went well....

I am a speed shopper. By nature, get in, get out. So we came in....told the sales ladies what we needed and my size and just rampaged through the styles.

I didn't find anything I was in love with. But I did discover what looked good on me that I didn't think would.

I also learneed an important lesson......use loaner heels.....The help the dress shopping. It's crazy. The dress wears much better w/ heels normally than w/out.

I know, I know.....KT you prolly knew this along time ago....and you too sis. But I only just learned it.

So....a pile of dresses later, this is what I went through, and these hangers are only about 1/2 of what I had in the room w/ me. I grabbed some other colors to try styles.....but you know....I can only post the black ones. So this i for KT.

I like this last dress the best. It is also the 2nd dress posted......

La Mesa Three-Ohh

So Yesterday was Drew's Birthday, the Three-Oh
....finnaly made it. So we are all stoked. To celabrate we gathered at our place and then headed to Gio, a Wine bar in Down Town La Mesa, and yesss there IS a downtown.

There we had a great time. Drew did what he does best.....and as you can see below....i helped..a lot. ha ha

Well, looks like I am back in San Diego.......serious. But this time it is for work.
Looks like it's not so bad. I flew in Thursday, to 80 degree sunny palm tree land of surf and sun, from 17 degree Draper UT of snow and Ice. I had no reason to stay in utah, really. The Snow fort had melted, the air was cold. Not a lot of flying for me either. Plus the people I spend time most with left for France on Thursday also.

So here I am, and loving it. I know why i left, but I also remember why I moved here last February. Serious, you can't beat the fresh fruit and smell of orange blossoms and warm winter. Avocados and fish. miles of warm non-icy bike riding, and not having to sit on the trainer. watching movies. Not that I don't love that.

I am planning on being here most of the month of Feb. That is the plan anyway. Working on a project, going to meetings. Getting things right.

Me at a meeting, hiking into Eagel Peak, to get familiar with the peak and the routes. It was a beautiful. Lovely, warm and fun. Watched the birds thermal and soar, not a cloud in the big beautiful sky. It was a 45 min hike in and a few hours climbing. Then 45 min hike out.....it was a nice hike. Really lovely, the rear of the hike was taken up by a Pug named GUSTAVE and a blind OLD dog names ZIPPY....HA. awesome.

Next meeting will be Corte Madera....Sometime this week.

Chapter 17: Paragliding

I'm still here.....so this is my, in October, trying out wing number 9. I was trying to find a good wing for me to buy. I couldn't afford a new wing. So I was trying all of the used student wings. more and more.....most people dont fly more than 5 wings in their whole flying carear. and by a month and a half. I had tried ten. I even drove all the way tp San Francisco to look at one around haloween. I did find one. and no the one I was expecting.

The Ozone Geo, that was the wing that I wanted. An extra Small.....no one had a used one. I was in San Fran to look at a Hook, and a Golden. not wings I was too intrested in, but begers cant be choosers. . . . and I was broke.

But while I was in SF I met some one who had a XS Geo......cash in hand I bought it. I was a happy girl.

So this is me, in warmer times.....new wing, and new harness.....ready to go out and float on the breeze. Happy I am.

This is my neighborhood. I live here. There are about 20-25 of us. Glider pilots, Climbers, snoboarders and base jumpers. We live on one block. Steep Mountain Drive. In Draper Utah. Surrounded by Mormons. LDS. Plesant Ville.

I Found out that almost 90% of all women in Sandy (The next town over) are on Xanax! Serious. And it explaines a lot. Like why I get stuck behind housewives during a red light and watch the light go from Red to Green and back to red.....and they dont MOVE! and no one honks.

So on this day.....I stood on the side walk and watched the cars go by. Just started at them. They tried violently to avoid eye contact. "Keep driving, dont look at the crazy person, act like you dont seen them."

Xanax.

Lost in Suburbia

I had been having a day, one of those days where nothing was right. Where you think, let this day be over, let me go back to bed and awake in a new clean day where I can start again.

It was a day.

I walked over to my friend Loren's house. And there it was......Max, Where the Wild things are "Max"

"I'll eat you up I love you so" Where the wild things are is/was one of my most favorite books as a Kid and still is. Loren, had a "Max" outfit, that he'd made. I put it on......walked out side, and watched the cars go by.

I Drive out there with a heard of people from Draper Utah. They went to for a halloween/birthday party, and I went for a wing. But I went to the party too.

.....I am, and have, more or less. Moved there. I pay rent, and at least ONE bike.....soon to be three. My climbing gear, studio, paraglider you know......me. my stuff.....it's showing up. I am gathering it. It is begun.

Okay, so seriously, i did NOT need another sport. and had NO intention on trying one. Chris met me in Nebraska at my parents about two weeks ago, and hung out in NE. Then we went to go climb in the black hills of South Dakota, and while we were there, I decided that I would really like to see what the whole Paraglideing thing was all about. Just.....you know, watch a little. mabey take a tandem flight.

.....but knowing me, I got the tandem and thought......huh, that was kinda neet, wonder what it is like to handle one of those things? Singed up for a intro one day class.......which these photos are from, and wouldn't ya know......I am now enrolled in a couple week class. Learning to fly. it is......very diffrent than anything I EVER expected to do.

No serious, I too my Nonni (grandmother) to church this past sunday (and NO i did NOT burst into flame OR cause a scene!) and she likes to go out to breakfast afterwards, so we did. And it was.....ummmmm, not good. infact it was SO not good that about an hour later I was bent over on the side of the RD pukeing my brains out. and well.....aparently I puked so hard that i got a damn black EYE! I had no idea that this could happen. But, well. Take note, that it can. so, next time you get to drunk of your food makes you ill. don't puke to hard. You might give yourself a black eye.

10 Miles

Of Dirt ROAD! and in the rain that we have been getting, I have been getting time learning how to drive on muddy dirt roads. LOADS of fun. Serious. It's 10 Miles of Dirt ROAD driving, to the highway, then a few more miles to the nearest sizeable town of a couple thousand. In truth the town of Whitney is the closest, but it only has about 87 people. ha ha ha

Cancer causing California

Soooooo, I go and help my neighbor pick his car up from the train station parking lot and this is the first thing that I come accross. Now, I know it's just a lame warning and all.......but why are these chemicals only know to cause cancer in the state of california? Why not Nevada? Eh? I need to know. Also, I think this sigh should be on the on ramp of all major roadways. since the freekin air along them in S.Cal is so rancid and pollutid that it just CAN'T be good for you.

Good thing I bailed for Nebraska just over a week ago. WheW!

Walking Rain

While Chris and I were on the ~RD home to San Diego, and we saw this wonderful rain, walking rain and it looked so tasty in the heat. Soooooooo we decided to inspect.

Sizeing up the road, we checked it out, wind blowing sideways, temprature dropping by ten degrees. It was lovely. tho we agreed that it was time to bail, since the water flowed so hard that we couldn't see the road condition nor the puddles. and we DID want to get to San Diego sometime that night.

SO I have been painting quite a bit as of late. And our house is coming alive in pain ....sorry, PAINT and canvas.

So here are my newist and most favorite of all the things that I have done.....The Six.

I had been wanting to do a set of crows. and had been waiting for the right idea and size. While I was biking in Mission Gorge the other evening, i was joined by a crow, cawing and circling, and flying with me for most of the road. it was wonderful. and this crow was backlit by the bright sky, and when I would look forward and see the negative image on the road. and, that is what I decided to paint.

SO, as some of you know, I shave my head about once a year, and keep it for a couple weeks/months sometimes.

Today, I shaved the bangs off my head. So I am an official "space monkey" again. It's the best.

I have had more dirty looks in the last 5 hours for my shaved head, than I did the whole time I lived in Philadelphia.

California, the land of hippies and progressive thought.....yeah right. People muttering "dyke" "THAT girls not straight" and the ever lovely "Look at that, ehh."

It's HAIR, just HAIR. It grows back, and I just don't understand why people need to pass judgment on the kind of person that I am or my sexual orientation because I have a particular hair style.

Chadron Nebraska.....town of less than 3,000. People were less offended by my noggin THERE than here in San Diego. People have been down right rude to me here. Passive-aggressive comments from insecure people. Some how, my hair style bothers them so much that they feel the need to be rude to me.

What i don't understand is why people have an issue with a female with a shaved head. I don't even have it CLEAN shaven. It's about 1/8th inch. I feel clean when my head is like this. I feel strong. I feel efficient and noble.

I happen to LIKE the way that I look when I have my hair like this. I think I look beautiful. I feel that people really have to look at ME when I am like this.

Phantom of Da Opera

So Drew and I went to go and attend the closing performance of Phantom of the Opera, San Diego on Sunday (8.10.08) and decided to make a day out of it. We got up, and went to brunch. It was great. We ate at a place called "Hash House a Go-Go." It may have been one of the best breakfasts that I have ever ordered out! The proportions we a little to big, but at least they were tasty! Whooohoooo.

Then we took a stroll out at Seaport Village near old town, people watched, and hung out shopside near the hammock store.

The show was good too...ha ha

She's a Rainbow

No really, ask Chris, the rainbow was coming OUT of my head. Serious. I can do that!
This happened on out drive home from Mammoth/Bishop to San Diego. We were taking a small detour and it turned into a SIX hour detour that ended us up in the fire lookout on Bald Mountian I think it was. The woman who was living up there was just getting ready to be relived from her 8 day post. There's a bad and a kitchen and stuff up there.....the top of the Mtn, no people and all four walls of the tower, glass.....quite the view to wake up to every morning. I can't imagine. She was living there with her dog.

Since the detour took us almost 6 hours out of our way.....we were about to be out of gas. So I made a rainbow come out of my head, for good luck, you know.

Then, i turned into a fish.....that happenes to me sometimes. As KT, or my parents.....it is tragic really.

So I just finished reading this book. I did enjoy it. But that is not why I am wrighting this........there is an awesome opening to a Chapter that really did it for me. So I am going to try and re:type it.....most likly butchering it along the was in a vocbulary spelling sense......but. I'll do my best. Copy-wrighting is hard for me.

Climbing and Cake art.

So I have been bad about this blogging thing since my life has gotten a little busy. But here is a small snippit of things. I have been out and about, climbing, biking, and making CAKE ART! ha ha.

`mostly I have been climbing up in Idyllwild. The rock there is nice, tho the temps have been a bit warm. But that is not saying much, I DO live in So.Cal. Which is....well..... a desert. Hot, kinda dry, and no clouds or rain in sight.

Mostly, I just try and stay cool. The house has been quiet since Drew has been out on the ship, playing in Hawaii, and climbing and cycling in the near ideal weather on that island in the Pacific. And here I thought Navy life would be crap. I guess there are some perks eh? But I think he might be back on the ship now.

I had dinner at a friends house, no one was thrilled with the strange Green Tea cake that was achieved at RANCH 99, a asain supermarket.......so I built random shapes out of it. At least the frosting was tasty.

Also, I got inspired to make large sofa art. to replace other stuff that was on the wall that neither Drew nor I really liked.

So.......i bought a big flat of berries at Costco....you know....a COSTCO size of berries

...natrually....I try as I might, I couldn't eat them fast enough....
they began to turn.

So I thought.....I will put the musy molds ones in the trash and the good oned in the freezer for smoothies.
...I began to cut the tops off.....and discovered something that I have known a long time....

So, I just got back from a wilderness First Responder (WFR) course.....tought in Idyllwild, CA. it was GREAT. The class was from the 3rd through the 11th of May, and then chris and I stayed on to climb a bit in the awesome area that is up there. I had a great time and learnd all kinds of nifty stuff.

There's no dolphins in the ocean.....just banana sharks and bushes....

.......and then they wrapped my up and shipped me home.....no really. Okay , not REALLY, I was a demo for a thermal wrap for people going into hypothermia....and man was it nice and warm there.....it was like a heat rock but better!

Joshua Tree, Expanded.

Above, chris working on "Hot Rocks" I tryed to follow it, but only made it about 20 feet off the ground before my fingertips started bleeding again.....took it easy the rest of the day.

Then we had a party in the Real Hall of Horrors.......super neet place. I really enjoyed it, and it was even cooler because we had MUSIC to boulder to! it was great! and I scored those AWESOME white sunglasses!

Almost There!! Or am I!?!?!

So, I am Almost there. I am ALMOST 28, TWENTY-EIGHT!! Man, it has been quite the year!
I JUST (as of TODAY) flew in From Moab, UT. Well, indian Creek to be exact. and it is an amazing state, Utah is. Beautiful. The Cayonlands are amazing, and Zion! well....Epic, and that is NOT a word that I use lightly. I spent most of the end og March and then into April in Joshua Tree Park. Climb-a-nating and vega-tating. Working when I could. Then it was off to Moab UT, with a side track to Las Vegas, and Zion.

I will elaborate on all of this in the next couple days, but let me just say.....I am not quite the same as when I left. Nope, something has changed, evolved, and it is good. I am almost done with 27.....two days to go and counting. My Dad will be visiting me for my birthday. and I plan on making me a cake. possibly making a PURPLE cake. and I may get a pedicure because my feet are a wreck after this past month, and I would like to pay someone to ake care of them for me.

On The Road to Somewhere. Probably Wiggle Town

Ok, So I have been REALLY bad about keeping up on this, but I have a reason, it isn't good by any means, but it IS a reason. That reason is that I have been on the road. Climbing, and well......climbing, camping, howling at the coyotes and just living as best as I know how.

I will have a full update, photos and all, sooner than later. But for now, let us just say that this is a beautiful country that we live in and I am blessed to be able to explore it more fully this year in my life. and I hope to keep it up!

So, today i was on the phone with my mom, looking down at my neighbors parking spaces from my deck, and I decided that my cement deck needed some color. so I grabbed the colored pencils and drew some color on the ground, and when I looked up, this is what I had done......too bad I dont own the house, because I like what was happening. I hope it comes off. ha ha.

Mini Golf and the personalized home decor

so today, (LEAP DAY) Drew and I decided to celabrate this very special day by going and playing mini golf this afternoon instead of working. and then we went and also got some tacos and horchata, and played about in the indoor climbing gym. All in all, a great day I would say.

We then decided that the home needed some personal touches, Office Depot helped us out there, ha ha.

Woodson, Again....Robin's Crack.....Again

Well, It looks like another crappy day in Woodson. Yup. Another, day, spent out side in the sunshine. CLimbing things and eating penutbutter and Jelly sandwiches. Drew, Chris, and I all packed it up this afternoon and headed out to Woodson again. where is located what just might be some of the most awesome bouldering in the area. Though I have FAR from exporored about, but how can I got Wrong with a place as cool as Woodson? Serious.

Sickle Crack, cool....I didn't get to play on it, as I tweeked my ankle on a boulderin problem 1/2 way though our day. But no never mind, I got to be camera girl instead.

No Fingerprints

So it finnaly happened, I climbed until I wore out my finger pad, dag! But at least i did a couple more climbs after it finnaly wore off, just to be sure that my prints were good and gone. I thought that they were gunna go soon. and crack climbing in Mt. Woodson, well, I guess that did it. ha ha.

.....and below, my first crack bouldering problem, i was so excited that I did it about 5 more times, a nice 5.8 crack. "Baby Robbins" It's my friend.
